Volunteer opportunities
At SVdP, 95% of our workforce are volunteers-like YOU. We believe that we can accomplish more when we all do it together. Thank you for sharing your skills, time, and heart with us. Thank you for being part of the family.
Family Support Services
Support families at risk of homelessness
Work with our Family Support Services staff to provide assistance for families in need.
Community Food Distribution
Give out food at our drive-thru community food distribution
Help fill our neighbors' pantries by loading boxes of food directly into their cars at SVdP's Community Food Distribution -- a drive-thru opportunity for anyone in the community to stop by and get the food and groceries they need.
Kitchen crew
Prepare meals in our kitchen
Help our central kitchen prepare 7,000 meals every day to distribute to our dining rooms and other partner agencies around the valley.
Food Bank
Sort food for neighbors in need
SVdP’s Food Reclamation Center processes 3.37 million pounds of donated food annually, where no good food goes to waste.
Thrift Store
Sort and stock items in our Thrift Stores
Our Thrift Stores located around the Valley provide the community with repurposed items at an affordable cost, support our programs, and provide those we serve with essential items such as clothing and household items.
Hearts and Hands Days
A day of service for the whole family
Hearts and Hands is an upbeat, family-friendly volunteer event with a variety of volunteer opportunities for all ages! It's a great way to introduce kids to service and giving back.
Bike Shop
Fix bikes for folks who need transportation
Our bike shop asses and repairs donated bikes that are then given to community members in need of transportation or sold at our thrift stores.
Administration
Put your office skills to use
Volunteers in administration use their skills to assist various departments that support the mission of St. Vincent de Paul -- especially the Volunteer Services Office.
