What is it all about?

No act of charity is foreign to The Society - it’s all about love and compassion and the joy of helping in big or small ways. Hearts and Hands is an upbeat, family-friendly volunteer event with a variety of volunteer opportunities for all ages! This is a wonderful way to gently introduce service to your family or continue to include service in your life. Activities are centered around the themes of offering blessings, love, and hope to our guests.

What to expect

Age Requirements
To attend the event
  • Individuals 14+
  • Kids 0-13 with an adult 
To be a project leader
  • Individuals 16+
  • Kids 14+ with an adult
Duties at a Hearts and Hands event
  • Make craft projects (projects vary by month)
  • Pack sack lunches
  • Make sandwiches
  • Assemble outreach kits
  • Project leaders are responsible for helping set up, facilitate event, and clean up
