Shelter and Weather Relief

At SVdP we have a long-term transitional housing shelters for adults living with disabilities, veterans and seniors experiencing homelessness. We have an adult emergency shelter for individuals living near Washington St. in Downtown Phoenix who are interested in getting back into permanent housing. We also have temporary summer heat relief shelters around the Valley.


Transitional housing shelter for older adults

Call the phone number listed to begin the pre-screening process. Then you will have to come in for a second, face-to-face interview with a case manager to ensure that you would be a good fit for the program. There is no cost if you don't have any income otherwise the cost is 30% of income for residents. Veterans should work through the VA to enter Ozanam Manor, which has select beds especially for veterans in need of transitional housing support. While in the program at either Ozanam Manor or De Paul Manor, a dedicated case manager will work with you to make sure you have all your paperwork in order and help you find an affordable place to live.

Workforce housing

Call the phone number listed to begin the pre-screening process. Then you will have to come in for a second, face-to-face interview with a case manager to ensure that you would be a good fit for the program. Rosalie’s Place offers support to working or job-ready adults in securing employment and provides a temporary bridge from homelessness to permanent housing with assistance from staff, volunteers, community partners, and peers.

Adult Emergency Shelter

Entry to the shelter is by referral only. There are no walk-up services. There are 260 beds available. Once a resident enters the program the bed/space is theirs until they are able to find more permanent housing. Our community offers wrap-around case management and holistic services onsite to help individuals experiencing homelessness resolve their barriers to finding housing and is open with security 24/7.

Heat Relief

We give out cold water and access to air conditioning during the day at our dining rooms from June 1 to September 30 every year. Click here for more information on SVdP's heat relief efforts.
