Mission:
- Gain insights into the causes of homelessness and how to prevent and improve outcomes
- Understand the value of community service in addressing societal issues and their role
- Challenge myths, misconceptions, and barriers to housing
- Create lasting impact through interaction and engagement, understanding and compassion.
Youth Leaders (Age 15+):
- Develop leadership and mentorship skills while becoming certified ambassadors skilled in community action and advocacy
- Creating projects with community partners while earning service hours and becoming lifelong community leaders
Youth Attendees (Age 10-14):
- Learn and develop skills through a mentor and service oriented projects in a safe, fun and supportive environment
- Explore, build, and nurture lasting mentors and friendships.
What to expect:
- Shirt and daily lunch is provided
- Each week long session runs daily from 8:30-3:30PM
- Each participant will earn 35 community service hours
- Vinnie's Service Corps is supported by donations. The suggested donation is $250 to help cover cost. Please consider supporting your child by making a donation here.
