Plate of food on Thanksgiving

Serving Thanksgiving meals across the Valley

SVdP set to serve 5,000 meals to individuals and families in need this Thanksgiving Day
This Thanksgiving, St. Vincent de Paul will open its doors to anyone in need of a hot, home-cooked holiday meal. Across its four Valley charity dining rooms, the nonprofit expects to serve more than 5,000 meals on Nov. 27 to people experiencing homelessness and to working families struggling to make ends meet.

"This year has been especially difficult for many families,” said Adam Young, St. Vincent de Paul’s food service director. “With grocery prices rising and the added costs of the holidays, a Thanksgiving meal can feel out of reach. We want to make sure no one misses out and that every person who walks through our doors can sit down, share a warm traditional meal, and feel the comfort and community that Thanksgiving represents."

THE MENU
At each dining room, guests will enjoy roasted turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, herbed stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

If you know someone in need of a hot meal this Thanksgiving, please share the SVdP dining room meal service schedule and locations below. Let's all be fed and well this holiday!
