Papa Murphy's spreads joy with Mini Murph event
St. Vincent de Paul’s Next Phase Family Dining Room brimmed with joy, creativity, and the delicious aroma of pizza during a special Mini-Murph event hosted by Papa Murphy’s Take 'N' Bake Pizza. The event brought 100 children from SVdP's Dream Center into the kitchen, where they became chefs for the day.
Using Papa Murphy’s Mini Murph pizza kits and rocking adorable chef hats, the kids enjoyed spreading sauce and crafting their own 10-inch pizzas alongside their friends. With the guidance of Papa Murphy’s staff, pepperoni and cheese pizzas were baked and the kids’ eyes brightened with happiness as they watched their delicious creations come out of the oven. Feeling proud of themselves, the kids ran to their parents, excited to share their pizzas and everything about their unique culinary experience.
The event marked the beginning of a partnership between Papa Murphy’s and St. Vincent de Paul, driven by the vision of Mike Marasco, a devoted supporter of SVdP and the proud owner of five Papa Murphy’s stores across the Valley. Inspired by his love for SVdP, Mike found a way to combine his passion for pizza with his love for giving back to his community. That is exactly what he did through the Papa Murphy's Mini Murph event.
But the generosity didn’t stop there. Determined to extend the impact, Mike is running a Papa Murphy's online fundraiser to further support SVdP’s mission of feeding, clothing, housing and healing the most vulnerable members of our community, ensuring the spirit of giving continues as the new year begins.
