SVdP staffer named to Marquis Who's Who list
Anyone who works with Krashanda Cleveland at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix knows her to be a kind, talented professional. As the manager of SVdP's Social Work Services team, she's helped hundreds of families find home after experiencing homelessness. She's also helped hundreds avoid eviction and remain in the homes they already have.
Now people beyond SVdP are also taking notice of Krashanda's exceptional work. This year, Krashanda has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Krashanda, who has a master's degree in social work, is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in social work. She's served in her position as the manager of Social Work Services at SVdP since 2020, where she helps with housing mediation, keeps families housed and mitigates and advocates for families facing large eviction amounts. She conducts psychosocial assessments to determine the best intervention methods for individuals facing housing barriers and provides resources throughout the county. Additionally, she oversees interns for Social Work Services and develops workshops and classes for families.
Throughout her career, Krashanda has held many positions that have contributed to her extensive expertise in social work and related fields. Since 2021, she has been a notary at AE Notary Solutions. Concurrently, she has served as a senior tax preparer at AE Tax Services LLC since 2009. From 2018 to 2023, she was an administrator at Tayybat Personal Care Services. Between 2015 and 2018, she worked as a behavioral case manager at Molina Healthcare.
Krashanda’s professional journey also includes roles such as a childcare and learnfare coordinator at Ross IES from 2012 to 2015, an ongoing case manager at Integrated Family Services in 2012 and an ongoing case manager at the Children’s Service Society of Wisconsin from 2008 until 2011. Earlier in her career, she was a supervised visitation worker at Professional Services Group between 2006 and 2008, as well as a JDPA placement coordinator at Multicultural Community Services from 2006 to 2007. She also served as a disability medical examiner at the Department of Disability Determination from 2005 until 2006 and as an SSA hope case manager in social services for Health Care for the Homeless from 2004 to 2005. Her initial experience in the field began as a lead case manager between 1998 and 2001.
Krashanda’s academic achievements have significantly contributed to her professional success. She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Upper Iowa University in 2004, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University in 2012. She subsequently earned a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2020.
Krashanda’s dedication to her profession and community is evident through her extensive career and ongoing efforts to innovate within the field of social work.
