What do you get when you mix determination, a strong will to succeed, and crafting genius? GANAMOS. St Vincent De Paul is excited and ready to kick off its third round of the Ganamos program. For those of you who do not know, Ganamos is a 13-week program where moms become entrepreneurs. Schedules have been made, classes planned, recruitment is intense, and it should all make for a most exciting 13 weeks. Classes begin on February 4, 2013 and will be held Monday –Wednesday 4:45 P.M.-6 P.M. at the Watkins location with three Friday make-up classes.
Moms will participate in English, Computer, Business, and Craft Making classes in preparation for running a successful computer based business. Introduction to Business planning and Book Keeping, Business Plan Structure, Internet Trading and Etsy, Intro to Computer class, and Computer skills and Email Set Up are just a few of the course titles participants can expect to see as they read over their syllabus on the first day of class. Moms will be able to soak up knowledge from guest speakers, create business plans and Bios, and display their well-made crafts for the public to see.
The classroom environment is inviting and fosters learning and a sense of community. The instructors are well prepared, diligent, and looking forward to seeing all of the moms through to graduation day. Journey with us all over the next 13 weeks. Meet the moms, see their crafts, and read about their success. Learn about guest speakers, meet the instructors, and maybe learn a few business terms
